Handicrafts, which traditionally started from the Indus Valley Civilization and sometimes more precisely expressed as artisanal handicraft or handmade are a wide variety of types of work where useful and decorative objects are made completely by one’s hand or by using only simple, non-automated related tools like scissors, carving implements, or hooks. It includes Sculpture, Jewellery, Pottery, Weaving etc from Stone, Terracotta and also metal. These are the Artefacts and Images across Cultures and Times. Offlate with the advent of machines and tools, a new form of print have also developed wherein though the product is handmade but the intrinsic designs you see are created by machines / stencils – they are equally beautiful for display or use.
